This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 14 of 16"  General contractor Tom Silva shows master carpenter Norm Abram how he's restoring the circa 1720 raised panel front door with flexible epoxy and a new paint job. Countertop installer Danny Puccio is on hand as the 1,300-pound marble island top is hefted into the kitchen, and kitchen designer Kathy Marshall shows how the hole in the marble will accommodate a concealed compost bin. Plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey shows host Kevin O'Connor how he's upgrading the ducted HVAC system to go from one zone to three with the help of a plug-and-play zone damper system that makes retrofits and zoning a hot air system easy. Then Tom, along with host Kevin O'Connor, landscape contractor Roger Cook, and plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey, asks, "What is it?" Afterward, Roger shares several tips for driving rebar into the ground. D

Rough Cut - Woodworking with Tommy Mac  "Console Table/HDTV Stand"  Tommy looks at the technique of bending wood for his Rough Cut Console Table/HDTV stand project. To get some inspiration, Tommy goes on a Road Trip to meet with the curator of the Brooklyn Museum. There, he learns about the Thonets, who are famous for perfecting the technique of steam-bent lamination. D

NOVA  "Hubble's Amazing Rescue"  A shuttle crew heads to the Hubble Space Telescope in spring 2009 to perform the first-ever-in-space repairs of Hubble's defective instruments. The task requires ingenious engineering fixes and the most intensive spacewalk in NASA history. From training to launch, NOVA presents the inside story of the mission and the extraordinary challenges faced by the crew members.G

Doctor Who - Specials  "The Next Doctor"  Cybermen stalk the snow of Victorian London on Christmas Eve in 1851. As the Doctor investigates a spate of mysterious deaths, he meets another Doctor, traveling with his own sonic screwdriver and cockney assistant. The two combine forces to attempt to stop the rise of the CyberKing in this adventure.G
