Growing a Greener World  "The Power of Worms - Vermicompost As An Organic Marvel"  Sonoma, CA Princeton, NJ. - While worms are an important ingredient of the soil, they can steal the show in the compost pile. With vermicompost, worms do all the work of breaking down and decomposing kitchen scraps, turning it into nutrient rich castings for the garden. D

Hands On Crafts for Kids  "Kitchen Crafting"  One of the favorite places to craft is right on the kitchen table, so we thought it was a great idea to include kitchen crafts on our show. We start out with gift wrap made from recycled containers like mesh fruit bags. Then, learn a new way to decorate cupcakes with sugar sheets. D

Ciao Italia  "Gourmet Fish/Pesce Di Bungustao (Guest Jasper White)"  Seafood celebrity chef extraordinaire Jasper White brings a beautiful piece of halibut nella cucina - in the kitchen - to prepare a recipe guaranteed to make your mouth water: Braised Halibut with Saffron, Fennel, Tomatoes and Mussels, swimming in a golden sauce. Mary Ann makes your mouth water even more when she creates Stuffed Flounder with Spinach, Carrot and Ginger. No matter which recipe you like more, you're hooked. D

Hubert Keller: Secrets of a Chef  "Seafood Savvy"  Chef Keller makes three innovative and easy-to-prepare seafood recipes including mussels bathed in a creamy, white wine sauce and an unusual ceviche that's packed with punch. Mussels in Basil White Wine Sauce; Rock Shrimp Burger; Peruvian Ceviche.G

Rick Steves' Europe  "Three-Part Travel Skills Special"  Rick shoots his travel tips on location in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Venice, the Rhine and Swiss Alps. He demonstrates how to stay safe in unfamiliar locations and shows how to get around in a variety of environments. Part 2 of 3G

Grannies On Safari  "Peru - Cusco & Machu Picchu"  Travel with the Grannies to Cusco, a world heritage site, and the former capital of the Inca civilization. At 11,900 feet high, this ancient city was not only considered sacred by the Incas but was a jewel of the Spanish colonial world. The city is considered the arts and crafts capital of Peru. D

Garden SMART   Vegetables and fruits in the garden add a completely new dimension to gardening. Growing our own food is very rewarding. Additionally, many of the things we grow to eat are also very attractive in fruit and form. D

This Old House  "Barrington Project, Part 5 of 10"  Landscape restoration specialist Kate Venturini arrives from the University of Rhode Island to create a sustainable coastal landscape with the help of local landscape contractor Henry Pereira. Builder Andy Tiplady finishes up the shingles and trim at the master bedroom porch just in time for local metalsmiths to install the custom copper gutter and scupper that will keep rain out of the space. Members of the URI Master Gardener's association lend a hand installing coastal tolerant and native plants on the site, while local sod grower Pat Hogan delivers a freshly harvested fescue/bluegrass blend that will require less water, less fertilizer and less maintenance overall. D

Grand View  "Devils Postpile National Monument"  This episode explores one of the most unique phenomena in geology; Hexagonal pillars of Basalt lava that were revealed during the last Ice Age. Located in the Eastern Sierra, this rare and beautiful feature ranks as one of the world's finest examples of columnar basalt. The region reveals a volatile geologic history, with reminders bubbling up from the valley floor. D
