Burt Wolf: Travels & Traditions  "The Grand Bahamas"  The early maps of the New World show the islands of the Bahamas as a chain that runs in an arc from the east coast of Florida to the top of Hispaniola. It was where Columbus first arrived in the Americas and each of its islands has a distinct culture. Burt takes us on a tour of the Grand Bahamas to find out what's grand. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Milan and Lake Como"  Rick peeks at Italy's highest fashion, fanciest delis, grandest cemetery and greatest opera house in Milan, plus takes in Leonardo da Vinci's painting of The Last Supper.G

Christina Cooks  "Aphrodisiacs"  Christina whips up a menu proven to enhance romance, from Penne with Artichokes and Garlic to an Avocado "Margarita.". D

Grannies On Safari  "Varanasi - India's Spiritual Capital & Bangalore - A Commercial Star"  The Grannies make a pilgrimage on bicycle rickshaws to the "Ganga Ma" or Mother Ganges, a place of life and death revered in the Hindu religion. They observe day and evening celebrations, rituals and even participate. They visit a factory famous for Varanasi silk and of course shop! A quick flight to Southern India and to the city of Bangalore, a known major tech metropolis, brought new experiences. D

Burt Wolf: Travels & Traditions  "Las Vegas"  Discover how the ancient Roman Feast of Saturn (a 2000-year-old festival) has been turned into a 24-hour-a-day celebration, see how the Vegas Strip became the prototype for shopping strips around the world, learn about the relationship of marriage and food, look into the history of gaming. D

Burt Wolf: Travels & Traditions  "Cayman Islands"  As Christopher Columbus was sailing back to Spain at the end of his fourth and final voyage to the New World, a storm came up between Panama and Haiti and pushed him off course. It pushed him to the west, directly into the islands that are now known as the Cayman Islands. Burt tours the island and discovers the history of scuba diving as he swims with the stingrays. D

Burt Wolf: Travels & Traditions  "U.S. Virgin Islands"  Columbus visited these islands during his second voyage and thought they were so beautiful that he named them after the 11,000 virgins of Saint Ursula. Burt tours the three major islands of St. Thomas, St. D

Katie Brown Workshop  "Wedding"  Guest chef Snow serves leg of lamb, gourmet grilled cheese and a plum and almond cobbler. Projects include a simple wedding itinerary and a wrap-around twig vase.G

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "Italian Comfort Classics"  Host Christopher Kimball visits a Vermont farm to learn about chickens, old and new. Then, test cook Bridget Lancaster shows Chris how to make authentic Chicken Canzanese (Italian braised chicken). Next, gadget guru Lisa McManus reveals the test kitchen's favorite gadgets. D

Mexico -- One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless  "Confessions of a Carnita-Vore"  Carnitas - chunks of pork cooked slowly in lard until they're golden and crisp on the outside and meltingly tender inside - are a weekend family tradition in Mexico. At the Medellin Market in Mexico City, Rick gives us an insider's look at how they're made every Saturday and Sunday in a huge copper cauldron, and served up with fresh corn tortillas and crispy chicharron (pork cracklings). But what if a carnitas craving strikes and you're not in Mexico on a weekend? No worries. D
