Dialogue, a production of Idaho Public Television, premiered on November 10, 1994. After more than 500 programs, it still remains true to its original concept: a statewide public affairs show covering issues of importance to Idahoans.
It is also the only statewide program with viewer participation. Viewers can email a question or comment before the program to dialogue@idahoptv.org.
Occasionally programs are taped to allow for discussions with visiting experts. Guests appear in our Boise, Moscow or Pocatello studios.
With the advent of its 19th season in October 2012, Dialogue moves to a new day and time, Friday evenings at 8:00 p.m. MT/PT on Idaho Public Television. The program is usually 30 minutes long, although sometimes it is expanded to an hour. It is repeated on Sundays at 10:30/9:30 a.m. MT/PT. In addition, it can be heard on radio station NPR News 91 (Treasure Valley).
